The ACC has quite possibly its biggest weekend of the season so far ahead of it. Favorites in both the Atlantic and Coastal Divisions face off this weekend in huge games, and other teams such as Clemson and Virginia are hoping to continue to turn their seasons around on Friday night and Saturday afternoon respectively.Friday, October 15Clemson Tigers (3-2, 2-1 ACC) vs Syracuse Orange (3-3, 0-2 ACC), 7:00 p.m., ESPNKen Ruinard / staff / USA TODAY NETWORKClemson had a rough start to 2021 through four weeks of the season, with the Tigers sitting at 2-2 and a tough game against Boston College next on the schedule. However, the Tigers managed to get a hard-fought win against the Eagles and were able to head into their bye week with some positive momentum. After the week off, the Tigers will face a tough road trip to face a much-improved Syracuse team.Syracuse comes into this game after back-to-back heartbreaking loses. The Orange lost on the road to Florida State on a last-second field goal two weeks ago, before losing in overtime to Wake Forest last weekend. Syracuse offense will have to find a way to score against a Clemson defense that has allowed just 12 points per game in what will be their toughest test of the season so far. This game doesn have much impact on Miami chances of winning the ACC, but root for Syracuse. Its always fun to see an underdog win, especially when it contributes to more chaos in the ACC.Saturday, October 16Duke Blue Devils (3-3, 0-2 ACC) vs Virginia Cavaliers (4-2, 2-2 ACC), 12:30 p.m., ESPN 3Virginia finished their first two weeks of conference play with an 0-2 record Sam Brooks Jr. Jersey, but have turned it around and gotten back to .500 in the two weeks since. The Cavaliers enter this game against Duke after back-to-back tough road wins against Miami and Louisville, and quarterback Brennen Armstrong continues to lead one of the best passing offenses in the country https://www.mhoutletstore.com/Jeremiah_Payton_Jersey-57. Duke, meanwhile, turned things around after a season-opening loss to enter ACC play at 3-1, but two consecutive losses have left the Blue Devils likely to miss a bowl game once again.Root for Duke in this game. Virginia holds a tiebreaker over Miami after defeating the Hurricanes which has left Miami needing other teams to help them in order to win the division.Pittsburgh Panthers (4-1, 1-0 ACC) vs Virginia Tech Hokies (3-2, 1-0 ACC), 3:30 p.m., ESPN 2Photo by Rich von Biberstein/Icon Sportswire via Getty ImagesPittsburgh travels to face Virginia Tech in a matchup that sees the ACC Coastal Division favorites face off. The Panthers have had a great start to the season despite an upset loss to Western Michigan a week after beating Tennessee on the road. Quarterback Kenny Pickett has continued an incredible career, with 19 touchdowns against just one interception so far in 2021. Pittsburgh feels like the division is theirs to lose, and if they win this weekend, it likely is.Virginia Tech enters this game after a heartbreaking loss to Notre Dame on a late field goal last weekend. Virginia Tech two losses are by a combined nine points this season, and if a few things had gone the Hokies way they could have been the ACC second undefeated team at 5-0 this weekend Connor Byrne Jersey. As things stand Virginia Tech is hoping that an improved defense continues its success so far this season against an experienced quarterback on Saturday afternoon, as that will be the key to the game for VT.This game will put Pitt or Virginia Tech in control in the Coastal Division, and Miami will be in the same position in the conference no matter which team wins on Saturday afternoon.No.22 NC State Wolfpack (4-1, 1-0 ACC) vs Boston College Eagles (4-1, 0-1 ACC), 7:30 p.m., ACC NetworkPhoto by Grant Halverson/Getty ImagesNC State is one of the favorites to win the ACC in 2021, along with Wake Forest. Theyl face one of their toughest tests of the season on Saturday afternoon on the road against a very good Boston College team. The Wolfpack are excellent on both sides of the ball, and quarterback Devin Leary has proven himself as one of the best players in the ACC.Boston College is hoping to get things back on track this weekend after a heartbreaking loss to Clemson in their last game. The Eagles have remained a dangerous team even despite the loss of starting QB Phil Jurkovec, with Boston College averaging more than 400 yards and 35 points per game on offense. This game doesn have much impact on the Hurricanes, so root for whichever team you prefer. Either way, this could be one of the best games in the ACC this season.Week Seven could end up being one of the most important weekends of this season for the ACC. The Atlantic and Coastal Division races will have clear favorites by the end of this week, and some of the preseason favorites in the conference could be knocked out of contention with a loss this weekend. At this point, this column feels like a broken record:Tackle better.Have an offensive game plan that makes sense.Feed Zach.Max needs to be efficient. The formula to get the Horned Frogs off the schneid and back into the win column isn a complicated one, and yet it has felt awfully elusive over the past two weeks. And heading into a night game in West Texas? Well, I guess we will find out. Here are a few things I want to see happen Saturday night at Texas Tech. What is up with Evans?Whether he too tired, theye saving him for next season, or something else is going on, only Zach and GP actually know. But whatever is keeping the Frogs five star running back from leading the team in touches on a week by week bases needs to change Brannon Brown Jersey.Zach Evans is not only the best running back on the roster, he the best player on the team.PERIOD.And not letting your best player control the tempo of the game is a traveshamockery.I don want to run the sophomore into the ground, but an elite athlete who happens to be a scant 19ish years of age should be able to handle 20-22 touches without needing an IV. The weather should be relatively pleasant and the Tech defense isn super elite, so TCU should be about out of excuses for not getting Evans the ball https://www.thfoutlet.com/Ryan_Quintanar_Jersey-169.If he doesn tote the rock 20 times, we riot. What does the QB do well? After forcing the deep ball through the first three games of the season with little to show for it, the Jerry Kill/Doug Meacham braintrust listened to the critics and called a game that set Max up with makable throws in the middle of the field. And he consistently put the ball in the dirt.Yes, the offensive line wasn great, again, Saturday against Texas, but Duggan is either seeing ghosts, dealing with some kind of injury, or isn getting it done on the field. He throws a beautiful deep ball unfortunately, he doesn throw it TO anyone. And, though his strength is supposed to be the intermediate game, well, that didn show up last week, either. The coaches need to figure out how to put Duggan in a position to succeed, they need to save his legs until late game situations, and they need to remember how damn good this receiving corp is and get them involved. The offense, though not elite, should be a lot better than it has been. And if the Frogs can get it going against Texas Tech, what team other than Kansas will they find success against?Who are the Horned Frogs?Leading up to the SMU game, Gary Patterson said his guys didn practice well.Leading up to Texas, well, the effort was there https://www.thfoutlet.com/Jamoi_Hodge_Jersey-69, but there were a ton of mental and coaching errors that feel inexcusable come week five. We are not used to see Gary Patterson coached teams look lost, but honestly, that as big a problem as anything with TCU Football this season. When you have to put your best cornerback at safety because you are so desperate to have communication and institutional knowledge in the secondary, well, problems are afoot. This is a team that doesn consistently play with high effort, especially on defense, that doesn seem to be comfortable in the scheme or playbook, that does things like have nine men on the field for a punt or 12 men coming out of a timeout. The mental errors, on top of the physical ones, turn a potentially good team into an also ran. And fast.It feels like this is the game where the rubber meets the road: if TCU can win Saturday, albeit on the road, the path to bowl eligibility gets really mucked up. https://www.thfoutlet.com/Marcel_Brooks_Jersey-77 https://www.thfoutlet.com/Zach_Evans_Jersey-104

Good Teams Win, Great Teams CoverLet hope that the Notre Dame Fighting Irish can continue showing themselves to be more than good, but a great team this coming weekend. After beating UNC by 10 points on Saturday night and beating USC by 15 the week before that https://www.ndfioutlet.com/Jayden_Thomas_Jersey-129, the Irish have now handily covered the spread in the home, night game stretch. Actually, the Irish covered the last three games going back to the Virginia Tech game, too. This week, the Irish welcome the Navy Midshipmen to South Bend. Notre Dame and Navy did not play last year because of Covid restrictions to schedules, leaving Navy to be the third of three opponents that are on every schedule every year except for when 2020 was a thing. Navy has been struggling since the 2020 season, but that usually doesn mean a whole lot when they bring their triple option offense. Let see how the betting lines shake out for this game https://www.ndfioutlet.com/Daelin_Hayes_Jersey-92.ND vs. Navy Betting LinesAs of Tuesday afternoon, this is where we see the betting lines. The Irish are exactly three-touchdown favorites. Of course, the Irish are HUGE favorites at -1375 with Navy at +800 on the moneyline. With Navy overall struggles, Vegas sees this game as being not that close, especially since Notre Dame is a Top 10 team (and hopefully will stay that after the CFP rankings come out Tuesday night). The game total is interesting this week and very low for a Notre Dame game: 46 points flat. With Navy longer drives and their ability to limit the total number of opponent drives, this makes sense. Oddsshark also agrees with the under hitting because of a lack of Navy offense combined with the Irish probably planning on getting fewer offensive possessions than a normal game. As far as trends go, ND and Navy are both 5-1 ATS in their last 6 games. The total has gone over in 8 of the last 10 ND-Navy games, but the total has gone under in 4 of Navy last 5 games. Navy are also 5-2 ATS in their last 7 games against ND.Matty G PredictionConsidering what the lines are, I would stay away from the line with it being 21 points flat. That spread would make me run away from it. But, I would predict Navy to cover that number. These games are usually fluky in one way or another, and I see Navy being able to hang around within 3 touchdowns. As far as the total, I like the over in this one. The Irish could get the ball a few times to score, and you know Navy will get a triple option touchdown plus probably a random 60 yard pass play for a TD because that always seems to happen. The over could hit with a score and Irish victory like 31-17, so I will take that. Not a commanding performance, but enough that it could be a decent win https://www.ndfioutlet.com/Cain_Madden_Jersey-116. Honestly, most wins against Navy are fine so we can get the hell outta there hopefully unscathed.DAMHSA BUA CountLast week the over hit on the DAMHSA BUAs. This week, I going to set the O/U at 4.5 again. Do you think the Irish try to put a rout on? Or are you like me and thinking that this could be closer than we all want it to be? Let me know in the poll below on TDs scored, and let me know in the comments what you think about the betting lines in general. Poll OVER or UNDER 4.5 DAMHSA BUAs vs Navy? https://www.ndfioutlet.com/Tyler_Buchner_Jersey-110 https://www.ndfioutlet.com/Kyren_Williams_Jersey-58

As the world is currently in different stages of fighting the Coronavirus pandemic, it becoming abundantly clear that virtually every facet of our lives will be affected in some way. The tragic loss of life to the illness is the greatest concern, but there is an entire generation of youth who will grow up with a concept of infectious viruses that most of us never had concern with, outside of movies and TV. While there are more pressing matters than cancelled classes and cancelled sporting events, these effects on day to day life marks a departure from the things that ground us https://www.affoutlet.com/Men-3. Sports have always been an escape. When the United States held its breath as President George W. Bush threw out the first pitch after 9/11 in Yankee Stadium, wee had sports to lean on as an escape from the harsh realities of what going on in the world. This time, it different. As fans, it an annoyance. Not being able to kick back and enjoy a full slate of March Madness games, having to forego the first signs of spring with a competition for a green jacket among the azaleas, and missing out on the sweet smells of fresh cut grass and pine tar on opening day are heart-breaking, but it pales in comparison to how the players are feeling. Yes, sports are an escape for us, but for the athletes, these games and practices are metaphors for life. When the NCAA cancelled all athletic competitions for the rest of the year, athletes who worked their entire lives to make college rosters had their plans changed in an instant. Of course, the NCAA is working out a plan to give seniors extra eligibility, but this is simply not realistic for service academy athletes who will graduate and serve on active duty. To be perfectly frank, Air Force baseball was unlikely to be on the doorstep of a historic season. They were 7-12 before their series against Minnesota was cancelled along with the rest of the season. They hadn even had a chance to play against Power 5 schools like Minnesota, Kansas, Nebraska, or 14-4 New Mexico. There a phrase that gets tossed around to the point that it become a cliche, but igger than sports is something that rings true when you think about what a cancellation means, even in a season that wasn necessarily slated for a big post-season. This was the first season to be played since 2018 Air Force baseball alumni, Travis Wilkie, passed away in a training accident while flying in a T-38 at Enid AFB, OK on November 21, 2019. For players from the class of 2020 who were lucky enough to call him a teammate, you have to think baseball is something that has gotten them through incredibly tough times. It not just about missing games. It about no longer having the opportunity to share the struggles of training, the successes of winning, team trips, and the camaraderie that they were robbed of due to this outbreak. Shawn KelleyPhoto courtesy of goairforcefalcons.comShawn is a right handed pitcher out of Texas. In 2020, he pitched 6.1 innings before the season was cut short, and he totaled 7 strikeouts. As an Air Force prep school product, he was also on the football team during his year at the P.Jeff GerlicaPhoto courtesy of goairforcefalcons.comAs a right handed pitcher, Jeff has been a part of Air Force reliever rotation since his freshman year. He totaled 30 strikeouts over the course of his career. In 2020, he had three strikeouts in one inning against South Dakota State. He only began pitching in his junior year of high school and has earned Academic All-Mountain West honors https://www.affoutlet.com/Hayden_Isenhart_Jersey-56. Josh LeaserPhoto courtesy of Twitter jdlease25Josh is another senior pitcher who has held the Falcons bullpen together. He had a 1.88 ERA in 2020 and had 41 strikeouts over his career. In addition to these seniors having their season cut short, Coach Mike Kazlausky earned his 200th win on February 29th, only weeks before the season would end. As a coach who cares for his team more than probably any coach Ie ever seen, this has to be a devastating way to end this year campaign. As an Air Force Academy baseball alumnus, Coach Kazlausky understands what the team means to the players and how much this situation hurts. Eventually, when the virus is under control, things will return to normal. It will be a new normal, as this pandemic will likely shape the way we work, live, and play for an entire generation, but a whole class of athletes will have to move on without the closure of seeing their athletic careers come to a satisfying conclusion. If there one thing I know about service academy athletes, it that they are the epitome of resilience. Although they may struggle with what happened to their athletic careers, this time will become a part of their experience, and hopefully they will be able to focus on the good times that they had, and not just on what could have been. I offer a big salute to all of those athletes and it rewarding to look back on their careers and think that this class will soon graduate and go on to be leaders in the greatest Air Force on the planet. https://www.affoutlet.com/Dane_Kinamon_Jersey-96 https://www.affoutlet.com/James_Jones_Iv_Jersey-113

The first semifinal of the Pac-12 Tournament featured two teams who just recently played as the Ducks met up with the rival Beavers once again. Oregon is coming off a big win over Arizona State in which Oregon stars very much looked the part, while the Beavs are coming off a big comeback win over UCLA. The two teams split the regular season matchups at one apiece, as OSU got a big win in Eugene in January, while the Ducks got both their revenge and the Pac-12 season title in Corvallis just five days ago.First Half: The hot hand early favored the Beavers, as Ethan Thompson hit a couple quick threes, looking to make up for his rough performance against the Ducks this past Sunday. Omoruyi was finding success for the Ducks down low, weaving his way through the Oregon State defense for some crafty finishes. Oregon State then proceeded to go on an 8-1 run over the Ducks, outmuscling the Ducks on finishes in the paint. The Beavers were playing with more energy than the Ducks, who were looking for someone to spark a run to pull themselves back into the game https://www.odoutletstore.com/Spencer_Webb_Jersey-26. Omoruyi leads the break and C_Duarte5 slams it home!6-0 run for the Ducks cuts OSU's lead to 18-15.AlwaysUs A two-handed Duarte finish broke the Beavers run, but the Ducks were still down 18-11 after a four minute scoreless run. Luckily, that dunk spurred a 10-0 run to temporarily take the lead before the Beavers responded with a 7-0 run of their own to retake the lead, 25-19. After a slow start, Oregon was starting to get back into the flow of the game, but wasn knocking down three pointers with the same success theye had of late. Getting those shots to fall would be key to the Ducks taking control down the stretch Bennett Williams Jersey. Turnovers continued to plague Oregon, and OSU was taking full advantage of the Ducks sloppiness, as the Beavers pushed their lead to 12 with just a minute left in the first half. The Beavers took a 38-28 lead into the half. The Ducks had a lot of work to do if they wanted to make up for a rough first half. Stephen R. Sylvanie-USA TODAY SportsSecond Half: Roman Silva kicked off the scoring in the second half, meanwhile Eugene Omoruyi took a taste of his own medicine as he got called for an offensive foul. The Beavers lead was growing stronger by the minute and the Ducks were in danger of falling too far behind. Ethan Thompson continued to scorch the Ducks from deep, all 15 of his points were on three-point attempts. All that coming from a guy who was shooting less than 30% on threes coming into this contest. Meanwhile Oregon was currently shooting 2-13 on threes, they couldn buy a bucket from downtown. Chris Duarte was once again the player to end another scoring draught, as his three was the first basket for the Ducks in almost four minutes https://www.odoutletstore.com/Kris_Hutson_Jersey-77. The Ducks still trailed 55-39, but had time to get back into it. Despite Duarte and the rest of Oregon best efforts, they still had trouble chipping away at the Beavers lead because they weren getting the stops they needed, especially in the paint. Oregon State Andela was eating the Ducks alive down low, and the Ducks had no answer. LET'S GO!Nine straight for the Ducks! Five-point game.GoDucks | AlwaysUs LJ Figueroa hit a three to bring Oregon to within ten points of the Beavers, as the Ducks turned up the pressure on defense trying to force OSU into a few mistakes to help turn the tide. A couple Omoruyi baskets brought the Ducks to striking distance as they trailed by just five, the result of a 15-3 run by the Ducks as OSU had gone cold from the floor. A big Lucas three broke the slump and gave the Beavers an eight point lead, which they ran back up to 12 as Oregon kept missing three-point shots as time dwindled down. The Ducks got out-rebounded and missed too many threes as their bitter rivals knocked them out of the Pac-12 Tournament, 75-64Stephen R. Sylvanie-USA TODAY SportsTakeaways:After watching the Ducks run ASU out of the building, this was obviously a disappointing result. Oregon stuck to their gameplan, but missed far too many shots to really give themselves a chance. All credit to the Beavers for a big win as they advance to the Tournament final, as the Ducks will prep for the Big Dance. https://www.odoutletstore.com/Cj_Verdell_Jersey-33 Noah Sewell Jersey

Arizona State hockey (1-0-0) return to Oceanside Ice Arena was an unqualified success, as the Sun Devils won their first home game in 19 months by a score of 5-3 over the UMass-Lowell Riverhawks (0-1-0). ASU senior forward Jack Becker scored the game-winning goal with 3:36 remaining in the third period. While the Sun Devils managed to carve out a victory, they struggled to generate offense of any kind for most of the first two periods. Fortunately, ASU guests were feeling generous, as UMass-Lowell frequent penalties shifted momentum in the Sun Devils favor D.J. Davidson Jersey, allowing them to fight their way back into the game. The most egregious of these penalties occurred with five minutes remaining in regulation, when UMass-Lowell Andre Lee received a game misconduct for a high hit on ASU senior forward Demetrios Koumontzis. That allowed Becker to score the game-winner on the ensuing five-minute power play.hen you can beat a team like Lowell and not play your best, I think that a sign that youe a good team, ASU coach Greg Powers said. heye really hard to play against and they showed it tonight.Mass-Lowell had the edge from the game opening faceoff and quickly grabbed the lead on a Stefan Owens tap-in 58 seconds into the first period. The contest first five shots belonged to the Riverhawks, and the visitors might have managed to completely take control of the game if not for an offensive zone penalty against Riverhawks forward Brian Chambers. Arizona State wasted no time converting on the ensuing power play, as sophomore forward Matthew Kopperud blasted a one-timer past UMass-Lowell goaltender Henry Welsch to even the mark at one.Once 5-on-5 play resumed, however, the Riverhawks continued to pin the Sun Devils in their own end, frequently testing ASU senior goaltender Ben Kraws. The Sun Devils received a golden opportunity to pull ahead, as an elbowing penalty against Riverhawks captain Lucas Condotta threatened to swing momentum in favor of the home team, but UMass-Lowell Reid Stefanson responded with a shorthanded breakaway goal to regain the lead. The Riverhawks continued their assault until the end of the period, at which point they led 13-6 in shots on goal.ASU came out sluggish once again at the start of the second period, waiting until the eight-minute mark to hit UMass Lowell net for the first time. Shortly afterward, freshman forward Jack Jensen snuck a shot underneath Welsch arm to tie the game at two after linemate Michael Mancinelli forced a turnover at center ice. ASU momentum was short-lived, though, as Kopperud took a retalitory high-sticking penalty that sent the Riverhawks back to the power play. Initially, it looked as though the Sun Devils would escape harm https://www.assdoutlet.com/Jace_Feely_Jersey-123, but UMass-Lowell was awarded a goal after it was determined that a shot from Stefanson crossed the goal line. It appeared as though UMass-Lowell had begun to pull away, but a too-many-men penalty shortly after the goal put ASU back on the power play with a chance to equalize. Kopperud atoned for his prior mistake with another perfectly placed one-timer from the right circle to pull the Sun Devils even once again https://www.assdoutlet.com/Kevin_Macias_Jersey-28, and the game remained tied heading into intermission. Despite the late surge, UMass-Lowell outshot ASU 14-6 in the second period, and Kraws bailed his team out more than once during the Riverhawks forays into the ASU zone.en just competes, Powers said. he kid just works and battles. He big, he athletic and he had a nice game.he game slowed to a crawl at the start of the third period, but ASU began to show more and more signs of life as the seconds and minutes moved by. Sporadic chances were exchanged by both teams, but the play was largely uneventful until Lee caught Koumontzis with a high open-ice hit at the UMass-Lowell blue line. Lee received a match penalty and the Sun Devils scored two quick goals to seal the victory.Though ASU performance was far from perfect, many of its shortcomings can simply be attributed to normal season-opening hiccups. The two teams will meet again Sunday at 4:05 MST, and Powers said he expects a cleaner, more consistent showing from his group. The Sun Devils have many areas to improve on heading into game two, but their bid to retire their home arena with a winning season seems to be off to a good start.e owe who we are to this place, Powers said. e have 19 (games) left here and we have to protect our home ice and give this place back what it given us. https://www.assdoutlet.com/Deamonte_Trayanum_Jersey-67 https://www.assdoutlet.com/Rachaad_White_Jersey-101

Don let a recalibration of expectations turn you into a fool.Coming off the heels of a 48-27 loss to Clemson, Wake Forest finds themselves at 5-6 with a game at Chestnut Hill on tap in order to...producer hands me a new scriptOh, wait... Wake Forest is 9-2(6-1 in the ACC) and controls their own destiny going into TheRivalry against Boston College on Saturday. From the looks of comment sections, message boards, and social media, you think this team has fallen apart, can be fixed, and needs to fire the entire coaching staff, and send half their team to the transfer portal. In reality, yes, it was a pretty pitiful performance in Death Valley. The offense never really found a consistent groove(if you try and throw injuries as the reasoning, then you aren allowed to be upset at the defense during the Syracuse, Army, and UNC games), the defense allowed an offense that had been abysmal pretty much all year to run all over them and just bludgeon them from the beginning of the game, and special teams even looked horrific but was saved by a close fair catch call. With all that being said, Wake defense forced a fumble to give the team a fighting chance to tie the game early in the third quarter. What followed was: offense fumbling inside their own 20, defense giving up a short field touchdown, offense marching down for a field goal, probably the worst defensive play of Jair Taylor career resulting in a long touchdown pass, offense fumbles inside their own 20(again), defense gives up a short-field touchdown. In six drives and nine minutes of game time, Wake Forest went from having the ball down seven to having the ball and being down twenty-five. That not my opinion of what happened. thought the sequence in the game that really cost us, is they were going in on the 20-yard line, and we got the fumble. So we have the ball down seven and wee been moving it, but then we fumble on the next play. Then wee down 14. Against Clemson if you do that, youe going to lose the game spoke Clawson after the loss. This team has shown cracks on both sides of the ball, although the cracks on defense have turned into a complete chasm. What strikes me the most, even more than the defense(I know, I know), is just how this team has gotten away from what makes them click. The entire premise of the team is this: have an explosive offense that can score basically at will, have a defense that bends yards wise but doesn break getting off the field on third downs and force turnovers for the offense to capitalize.Wake has forced eight turnovers the last three games. The offense following said turnovers: Punt, Interception, Touchdown(after receiving the ball on the 5-yard line), Interception, Interception, Punt, Interception, Fumble. Seven points on eight turnovers while turning it over 5 times is the antithesis of how this team operates. Is it blaming the offense? No, so go ahead and stop writing that comment below https://www.wfddoutlet.com/Cameron_Lischke_Jersey-9, but when a team that built on offense and defense to win in a very specific way has their plan come crashing down, it next to impossible. Wake defense was impossibly bad in the second half against Clemson, there not really an excuse for that at all. When you take a step back and see that four of Clemson scoring drives required them less than 45 yards of offense, what on earth do you expect? At the same time... you couldn hold them to only one field goal and give your struggling offense a chance to figure things out? Il also say it here: if that was any team without the Clemson branding, that woulde been a ranked loss for Wake. There not really an argument theye not a top 25 team, or even top 20.Regardless of this, again Wake goes into a game as a 4.5 point favorite on the road against a BC team that has struggled this year, both with and without their quarterback. Injuries have to go out of the window, there no excuse for playing scared, nervous, or sloppy on either side of the ball. Not a single sane person or one acting in good faith can say that this team hasn been playing sloppy, on either side. Clawson was the first to mention the inefficiencies against UNC on offense. There were missed throws, turnovers, and drops galore in the NC State game where if that was cleaned up in the first half https://www.wfddoutlet.com/Jonathan_Saklad_Jersey-59, that game was a blowout given how the defense played in the first half. I shouldn have to tell you how sloppy that team looked against Clemson: missed assignments, turnovers, obnoxious penalties when theye begging for a first down.I be surprised if we didn see a new defensive coordinator once Wake finishes up their season. Firing a defensive coordinator in a 9-2 season with a game for the ACC Atlantic on the line makes absolutely no sense from any sort of logic. Something of that magnitude would cause more distractions than helping, and it not as if Wake is clinging on for dear life fighting for a bowl game and trying to turn around their season. That not my opinion, that the reality of the situation. If Dave Clawson gets the extension we all assume, I expect a new defensive coordinator who also will be taking over the safeties. Youe only allowed 10 coaches, so unless you part ways with someone like Ryan Crawford who is heading over the nickelbacks as well as Special Teams under Wayne Lineburg, there not room to simply demote Hemphill who actually has a good track record recruiting and developing safeties. The simple matter is there just appears to be a need of a different voice in the room https://www.wfddoutlet.com/Gavin_Holmes_Jersey-74. Even with the injuries, they had a relatively healthy team on Saturday and the inconsistencies were still there. At a certain point, the message just isn getting across to guys and you can have that. The question that remains is can Wake find the complimentary football theye severely been lacking all year since the UVA game. In stretches of games wee seen one side of the ball perform for stretches while the other side can find their footing and vice versa. It happened in essentially every game but Army. This can be a team that gets turnovers and don capitalize on them. They also can be a team that scores at will but can buy a stop even if it was at the dollar store https://www.wfddoutlet.com/Sulaiman_Kamara_Jersey-94.Doom and gloom isn necessary for the players or the fans. If you asked anyone going into the season if you take Wake going 9-2 and control their destiny for a berth in the ACC Championship game, 10/10 people would take it, run, and never look back. It not saying youe not allowed to be disappointed with a loss. Losses suck. But context and perspective are necessary and a loss to a Clemson team that frankly just out-athleted Wake shouldn sour the fact that they have a golden opportunity facing them.Don let a recalibration of expectations turn you into a fool. Now the question is, what Wake Forest team shows up on Saturday? https://www.wfddoutlet.com/At_Perry_Jersey-105 https://www.wfddoutlet.com/Sulaiman_Kamara_Jersey-94

As the regular season for the volleyball season is wrapping up (wow, time really flies), the Big Ten conference title race is having some interesting twists and turns. With four matches left and a whole lot of huge head-to-head showdowns between the conference best teams, there is bound to be a lot of moving and shaking. Let sort out who can still gain the conference crown.Wisconsin Badgers (13-3 Big Ten record, T-1st)Next matches: MSU, at Minnesota, Nebraska, Indiana The Badgers slip against the Purdue Boilermakers allowed the race to really heat up. Wisconsin heads to Minnesota this Sunday in probably their toughest remaining test. Though UW beat the Gophers earlier in the season, stopping Minnesota star Stephanie Samedy is always a big ask.Julia Orzoł could use some more consistency to take UW attack to the next level.A matchup against Nebraska at home right after will also be tough, but Wisconsin has had the Huskers numbers in recent years and swept the Huskers in Lincoln already this season. The Badgers will be hoping that fifth year Dana Rettke can get going earlier in matches to close the season, and that freshman Julia Orzol can show more consistency on the attack.Nebraska Cornhuskers (13-3 Big Ten record https://www.wboutletstore.com/Garrett_Groshek_Jersey-21, T-1st)Next matches: Penn State, Rutgers, at Wisconsin, at PurdueThe Huskers started the conference season strong, going undefeated before losing to the Badgers in straight sets. Now, Nebraska faces a late season gauntlet starting with No. 15 Penn State coming to Lincoln. The Nittany Lions have won four straight matches, so Nebraska will need their senior setter Nicklin Hames to be at her best for the offense. Get through that, and the Huskers will travel to Madison and West Lafayette to end their season.Purdue Boilermakers (12-4 Big Ten record, T-2nd)Next matches: Michigan, at Northwestern, Indiana, NebraskaThe Boilermakers are rolling, winners of six-straight games including a season sweep of the Wisconsin Badgers. Caitlyn Newton and Grace Cleveland are dominating offensively, while the Purdue block is a nightmare for opponents (as Wisconsin fans know All Too Well). Two road wins over top-10 teams in under 48 hours.Get past that, and then you have to deal with libero Jena Otec, who averages 4.48 digs per set. Purdue may be the hottest team in the country, and have a much lighter remaining schedule that their conference rivals, but that last match against Nebraska could have the Big Ten title on the line.Penn State (12-4 Big Ten record, T-2nd)Next matches: at Nebraska Jon Dietzen Jersey, at Ohio State, Minnesota, IowaOutside hitter Adanna Rollins is rounding into form for the Nittany Lions, and passed the 1,000 mark on career kills and digs last match against Michigan State. PSU will need her and their two middle blocks Kaitlyn Hord and Allie Holland at their best down the stretch, where theyl face three Top 10 teams in three matches. Penn State has won four in-a-row after a surprising loss to Illinois, but theyl need to be at their best to get back in the Big Ten race.Minnesota (12-4 Big Ten record, T-2nd)Next matches: Rutgers, Wisconsin, at Penn State, at MarylandThe Gophers were the latest victim of Purdue runaway train of a hot streak but Minnesota is far from out of the title race. Airi Miyabe and Jenna Weenas are emerging as options in the attack outside Stephanie Samedy and Katie Meyers is emerging as a top defensive presence on the block. We are JennaWenaas. JennaWenaas is us https://www.wboutletstore.com/Preston_Zachman_Jersey-140. If Minnesota can upset Wisconsin on Sunday, they will have a lot to play for against Penn State the following weekend.Ohio State (11-5 Big Ten record, 3rd)Next matches: Iowa, Penn State, at Rutgers, at MarylandThe Buckeyes will play mostly lower ranked teams to end the season and can change the complexion of the title chase with a win against Penn State. OSU swept Nebraska to kick off a three-match win streak. Gabby Rodrigues and Emily Londot have combined to be a great attacking tandem with both averaging over 3.5 kills per set. Beat the Nittany Lions (and have a lot of help) and the Buckeyes can find a way to at least have a shout at the top spot in the standings.
