To get their hands on head-on-heads in a Golden Party Hat, players must complete "various objectives" and collect eight golden shreds for their efforts OSRS Gold. Once the eight shards are obtained, they can be put together into the Golden Party Hat.
But, not only is the event time-bound, but only one golden hat is created by each participant. Much like the 2001 hats, Jagex says of the golden hats that "after the cut-off date, they will never be in circulation again!"
Whether the new item interrupts the game's economy by reducing the value of the existing partyhats or is an entirely new and much more valuable item remains to be determined. Jagex will be celebrating the occasion in the same manner but will be transforming the in-game Grand Exchange location into "a Golden Party Hat winter wonderland".
The golden hat is the crowning feature (sorry) to RuneScape's year-long 20th-anniversary celebrations. It will launch alongside the reintroduction of the partyhat event is the fourth and final phase of the anniversary quest, Once Upon a Time, that runs throughout the year long.
Fittingly titled Finale The chapter is described as "the end of the adventure which explores RuneScape's past the present, and the future. It completes the storyline to a close for Relomia The quest's antagonist."
Finale will involve players visiting three locations : the Black Knight's Fortress and the World Gate, and the island of Kami-Shima - which may provide glimpses of future futures Cheap RuneScape Gold. When they complete the chapter, it will reward participants with "four Quest points, a new magical T5 dice.
